EcoLatitude is an university project for New Development Course at the University of Sussex. Following the purpose of the course, the main aim of this website is to invite people to travel through environmental news and tips to help our planet.
Technically, the idea is to work on a free platform that allows to add feeds and applications from different sources like Google Map, Yahoo Pipe! and Twitter, to improve some aspect of the blog platform editing html and to add my own creations.
During your online journey by Ecolatitude you will find a main section about Global News in a map that is updated automatically and a Timeline with the latest news. Also, you will travel through the Amazon Deforestation in Brazil, to the Brighton Eco-comunnity and you will have the option to travel through an interactive "Green Home" that guides you to different tips to help the environment in your own home.
